Meet the Artist
Sarah Necco is a professional artist and photographer local to Olympic Peninsula, WA. She grew up surrounded by creative family members who fostered her love for creating and encouraged her to pursue her artistic interests. While she enjoys working in a variety of mediums, most of her work is created with watercolor and ink. Sarah is most inspired by the natural world; especially flowers, trees, and local landscapes.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Management from Peninsula College in 2021, Sarah opened up her small art business “Barnhouse Studios”. The name is inspired from her cozy art studio apartment space, which is located above the barn. In addition to selling her art, Sarah also offers custom design work for local businesses and organizations.
When not working on a creative project, Sarah can be found in the garden, on a hike, or spending quality time with her daughter, husband, family, and pets!
Here is a glimpse into Sarah's small art space. The shop name "Barnhouse Studios" was inspired by Sarah's small one bedroom studio above her parent's barn. This is were all of the creative magic happens. She also shares this space with her wonderful husband, daughter, a two cats pictured here, Zin and Zoe.
